Start with the car

Before we design a part, we study the car it goes into. Wireframe vehicle models show where the battery, fuse box, relays, starter and wiring sit, how much room each part has and how it is reached in a workshop.

Modelled in 3D, to the millimetre

We build a full 3D model of each part to its real dimensions: coil, contacts, terminals and housing. It lets our engineers check terminal spacing, clearances and fit against the original-equipment part.

Taken apart, piece by piece

An exploded view shows how a relay works: the cover lifts, the copper coil rises, the contacts slide out and the terminals drop. The same models give the 360° views on our product pages.
